A few years ago, after a Category 5 hurricane destroyed our family home, we lost nearly our entire collection. Decades of collecting, gone in a moment. Miraculously, one small box of cards survived. The photo you see is that very box. After I found it, covered in debris, it sat in a closet for a long time. Honestly, part of me ignored it, as I didn’t want to deal with the emotions of the storm, let alone losing a collection that was decades in the making. It was easier to leave it closed than to open it and face what was left.
Recently, a buddy of mine was talking about some football cards he had. It piqued my interest, and we finally decided to go through that dusty old box that somehow survived a natural disaster. One card turned into another, then another and before we knew it, we were right back in it! Just like old times.

This is my bro, Dan. He has loved sports cards since he was a kid, as well as the WWE and the Florida Gators! Cards have always brought him joy and a sense of excitement. After popping open that box, I realized that passion never faded.
So, each weekend, we buy a few packs and sit down and go through cards we've just purchased, talk about players and share memories. Sometimes, we even go through that old dusty box again. It’s not just about the cards; it’s about the time spent together, the conversations, and the simple moments that come with it. It gives him something to look forward to all week, and in a busy world, it gives all of us a reason to slow down and be present.
After a few months of doing this, Dan said something to me that he hasn't said since we were kids. "Can we start a card shop, bro?" So, here we are!

Giving back is a huge part of who we are, and we believe it matters in the hobby too. Many of the cards we buy, trade for, or receive through generous donations are shared with kids in the community who may not otherwise get the chance to experience collecting. With the cost of packs today, a lot of kids are missing out on the excitement of opening cards and building a collection of their own. We believe every kid deserves that joy.
When we do sell cards, 50% of every sale goes back into doing good things in the community through card donations and other local efforts. On the site, you’ll see some of the ways we use that money to make a positive impact through community work and card donations.
In the end, we want this to be about more than just buying and selling cards; it’s about using something we love to make a difference, even in small ways. So, when you buy a card (or donate cards), you’re doing more than adding to your collection; you’re helping support a small family business built around connection, kindness, and community. Oh, and of course, Dan’s chicken tender habit!
The name “Beeline Cards” comes from the little neighborhood store where our love for sports cards first began. Back then, my buddy Kevin and I would hop on our bikes with whatever money we could scrape together; couch cushion change, crumpled dollar bills, or a few bucks earned doing odd jobs for neighbors. The second we realized we had enough for a pack or two, we were flying out the door like we were late for Game 7.
Walking into that store felt like entering the big leagues. I’d strut up to the counter gripping a wax pack like it was a winning lottery ticket, convinced this was finally the day we were pulling something legendary. Most of the time, we couldn’t even wait to get outside before tearing the packs open right there at the counter. The suspense was unbearable. We’d celebrate commons like they were Hall of Famers and spend the entire bike ride home talking trades, stats, and which cards were suddenly “worth a million bucks.”
Looking back, those packs probably cost less than a soda, but the memories they created have lasted a lifetime. That little store gave us more than cards; it gave us excitement, friendship, and some of the best childhood memories we could ask for.
We chose the name “Beeline Cards” because it reminds us of where the hobby truly starts; not with expensive boxes or giant hits, but with simple moments, big dreams, and the joy of collecting.
Welcome to Beeline Cards. Just don't make fun of my outfit.
